About Us

The National Society Daughters of CSA Officer Corps was organized in July 2017 following a meeting in Wilmington, North Carolina. It was proposed to the Military Order of the Stars and Bars at their general convention that a separate and independent women's organization be created to honor their CSA officer ancestors. The NSDCSAOC was established shortly afterward. It was recognized by the IRS as a non-profit organization in 2018.

Our Formation:

Today, the National Society Daughters of CSA Officer Corps is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt corporation chartered in the State of Texas. Women may qualify for membership by proving direct lineal or collateral ancestry to a commissioned officer of the Confederate Army or Navy, an appointed or elected civil government official of the CSA between 1861-1865; a chaplain, a surgeon, or a member of a secession convention. Proofs must be provided to substantiate the link to each generation.

Our Moto:

Service, duty, valor and equality, and protection.
